The spin-off series is much more lighthearted in nature than The Bachelor or The Bachelorette, but things do turn serious when a rose ceremony is looming. I can’t imagine it’s easy to tell anyone at this point in the game to go home, but alas, it is the way this franchise works. But after all was said and done, it was Serene that was sent home at the end of the night. Compared to the other women, Clayton said he just didn’t have the same strong connection with her.
After they ganged up on her, she decided that it would be better if she left. The first hearing-impaired contestant in franchise history received Matt’shighly-coveted first impression rose. They had a strong initial spark, but Matt grew feelings for other women. When it came down to it, he couldn’t get there with Abigail, so he said goodbye. Jessenia had finally received a one-on-one date with Matt.
Week 3:
Ahead of tonight’s episode, Matt James also issued this statement on Twitter about the controversy surrounding Rachael and Chris Harrison. He explained he’s learning about these “incredibly disappointing” photos in “real time,” which leads me to believe the winner is Rachael but the duo broke up because of what transpired off-screen. Kim was one of the five new girls who joined the cocktail party. But she didn’t get enough time with Matt before the rose ceremony, so he said goodbye. Though the mean girl has been flat-out-rude since her first night in the house, her brutal name calling finally had consequences.
I was flabbergasted at how intelligently Clayton handled the entire situation, and I don’t think I’ve ever been more proud of him. It was truly a great moment to witness, Bachelor Nation. Season 26 of The Bachelor will conclude across two nights on Monday, March 14 and Tuesday, March 15. Keep reading to find out what happened and who Clayton sent home this week on the "Fantasy Suites" episode of The Bachelor Season 26. Though the Bachelor and Bachelorette alums on the cast are all looking for another chance to find love, some stars will get sent home before they have the chance to form a meaningful connection.
Who Ends Up Together in Bachelor in Paradise Season 8, Episode 12?
But to add insult to injury, the German-speaking suitor went home just before all the women were sent to a German-speaking country. Gabby shared that her dad wouldn't be meeting with them because his girlfriend was recently diagnosed with cancer and they're nervous about a potential COVID risk. Gabby's grandfather made it clear that he wanted to make sure Clayton was good enough for Gabby. "If it isn't for life, I'm going to be pissed," he later said to Gabby. Susie Evans got Clayton's first hometown date, which took place in Poquoson, Virginia.

At the time, he defended Kirkconnell’s actions stating that they only looked bad through a 2021 lens. The episode ended halfway through the rose ceremony, so no one went home this week. At 21, thedaughter of designer Cynthia Rowleywas one of the season’s youngest contestants. Though she was sure she wanted to establish a career before settling down with a family, Keenan had her doubts about Matt. Knowing he wanted to be engaged at the end of this journey, she sent herself home. Everything was good in Serena and Matt’s relationship, until he met her family.

She poured her heart out to him, but he didn’t feel that romantic spark. Knowing he wouldn’t get there with her, Matt had to excuse the social media marketer. Now that we’ve got the obligatory dates out of the way, bring on the two-on-one! We know that producers kept Krystal around for this moment.

Wondering who joined the cast in Season 8, Episode 12? But be warned, spoilers for Bachelor in Paradise Episode 12 are ahead. On October 25, Jill took matters into her own hands when she chose to leave paradise after Jacob expressed feeling a stronger connection with Kate. Later, during the rose ceremony, after failing to secure a rose Adam was sent home.
After a chaotic season, all of the Bachelorette alums that coupled up on the show are left unengaged - except one. Bri was excited for Matt to meet her single mom and her infant baby sister, but her mom was skeptical and wanted to remind her daughter to be “honest” and “vulnerable” about her feelings. During the “After the Rose” post-show, Matt revealed that his relationship with Rachael did not overcome the controversy. So, while there’s no proposal, there is a future for Rachael and Matt… that is until those photos from the antebellum photos surfaced.
Although Teddi Wright was saved from a rose ceremony elimination, she made a voluntary exit at the end of the episode. In a shocking-twist, Kit eliminated herself because she had some doubts about the relationship and didn’t think it was fair to him to go into hometowns with someone who wasn’t 100% interested. His exit follows the February controversy in which he defended Season 25 contestant Rachel Kirkconnell after photos of her at an Antebellum party in 2018 surfaced.
But she struggled to make time with Matt, and got harangued by Victoria for not forcing a conversation with him. She used her fancy feet to impress Matt when she got out of the limo, but the performance wasn’t enough to win over his heart. Mari took Matt’s breath away when she got out of the limo.
The two went for a hike together, before ending up at a hot tub that was randomly situated in the middle of the woods. I don’t who decides where the group dates and one-on-one dates will be, but I have to say, some people get the short end of the stick. I mean in this episode alone one contestant went to a palace during a one-on-one date after a shopping spree while the others had to attend a therapy session.
During the dinner portion of the date, Clayton told Rachel that he was falling in love with her. "I realize I had been feeling this way for a couple of weeks, if not more," he told her, before sharing that he hasn't felt this way in years. The only date card of the episode went to Michael and Danielle…again. Love, Wells,” and as you can imagine, Wells majorly third wheeled the afternoon. As Michael and Danielle explored Mexico, Wells popped up with tacos, chocobananas, hats, drinks, and more.

As viewers tuned in to another rose ceremony, four more contestants were axed from paradise. During the rose ceremony, Chelsea and Serena C were also eliminated while Abigail was spared and got the final rose. Matt still had doubts because he took what his mother said about love not being enough to sustain a relationship.
All of that will be addressed during the “After the Rose” ceremony hosted by Emmanuel Acho. Harrison then informed Rachael that there wouldn’t be a date that evening because Matt was confused and needed some time. Naturally, she took it personally and broke down crying. At the kickstart of the episode, the feud between Jessenia and MJ came to a head. Jessenia seemed confident in the fact that Matt would listen to reason, while MJ had a bit of a breakdown before pulling it together.
