The spin-off series is much more lighthearted in nature than The Bachelor or The Bachelorette, but things do turn serious when a rose ceremony is looming. I can’t imagine it’s easy to tell anyone at this point in the game to go home, but alas, it is the way this franchise works. But after all was said and done, it was Serene that was sent home at the end of the night. Compared to the other women, Clayton said he just didn’t have the same strong connection with her.
The two went for a hike together, before ending up at a hot tub that was randomly situated in the middle of the woods. I don’t who decides where the group dates and one-on-one dates will be, but I have to say, some people get the short end of the stick. I mean in this episode alone one contestant went to a palace during a one-on-one date after a shopping spree while the others had to attend a therapy session.
Bachelor in Paradise
Right from the opening minutes of the ABC show, the drama kicked off with a contestant self-eliminating because she was still hung up on her ex-fiance. Since then, there has been plenty of bitching, back-biting and accusations that people are not "here for the right reasons."
Wondering who joined the cast in Season 8, Episode 12? But be warned, spoilers for Bachelor in Paradise Episode 12 are ahead. On October 25, Jill took matters into her own hands when she chose to leave paradise after Jacob expressed feeling a stronger connection with Kate. Later, during the rose ceremony, after failing to secure a rose Adam was sent home.

Although there was no rose ceremony and no one was eliminated on the week 4 episode, there were three voluntary exits. She came to shoot her shot, but being a last-minute addition didn’t work in her favor. Her time was short-lived as Matt said that this far into the process, it didn’t seem fair to the other women.
Victoria also vowed to never date another Matt again, so there's that. Skipping the cocktail party and missing out on valuable time with Matt made Ryan super upset. The pro dancer had a reason to worry, too, as he didn't give her a rose and sent her home. After the Mara fight, Sarah cried in the session talking about how hurtful she had found the other girls calling her out for being cocky.
Abbie Chatfield has NSFW response to Bachelor runner-up’s claim that only Jesus ‘can satisfy’
He informed her that they didn’t build the connections to foster the relationships with the women who have been part of the process from the get-go. Prior to meeting the family, the couple had a whirlwind date that involved going skydiving and Rachael’s crash landing. This week, Clayton left things on a total cliffhanger. After one contestant stole him for a sec and revealed that Cassidy was still seeing someone back home, Clayton asked Jesse if anyone had ever taken a rose back before.
But Rachel's dad later told his daughter that he would support her if she's in love with Clayton. "If she's happy, I wasn't going to do anything to spoil the party," he later told producers. "If I was falling for you before, I'm falling for you even harder now," Rachel told Clayton at the end of the night. During the evening portion of the date, Clayton told Gabby that he's falling in love with her and they ended up spending the night together in a cozy yurt. In the morning, you could clearly see a shot of her dress hanging over a chair while she and Clayton cuddled in bed.

During the rose ceremony, three more women were sent home. The Bachelor went to Paris this week for romance, roses, and the dreadful two-on-one date. We’ve got The Bachelor spoilers to top off your Monday night entertainment, right here. After Victoria built up roommate drama with Marylyn and shared her POV with Matt, he opted to send Marylyn home to Huntington Beach. Why none of the other contestants came to her defense remains the big question. She and Matt bonded over their shared home state of North Carolina, but the connection wasn't made to last.
During the dinner portion of the date, Clayton told Rachel that he was falling in love with her. "I realize I had been feeling this way for a couple of weeks, if not more," he told her, before sharing that he hasn't felt this way in years. The only date card of the episode went to Michael and Danielle…again. Love, Wells,” and as you can imagine, Wells majorly third wheeled the afternoon. As Michael and Danielle explored Mexico, Wells popped up with tacos, chocobananas, hats, drinks, and more.
However, Matt James choose Jessenia and walked MJ out. This was kind of a surprise considering last week’s teaser promos showed MJ in future episodes. Claire didn't feel any sparks fly with Clayton, and she let everyone know it. After telling the other contestants she hated him, the 28-year-old spray tanner left for Virginia Beach, Virginia (and that's probably for the best). Personal trainer Melina gave it her all, but her time ran out this week.

The Cali-based ICU nurse barely had a chance to unpack her bags before heading back home. (Justice for her dress indeed!) She was among the new arrivals, but Matt decided not to give her a rose and extend her stay. Did fans even get to see a real convo between Mari and Matt in between all the theatrics?
Arie and the remaining ladies traveled to the city of love, a.k.a. Paris! And nothing can make an international Bachelor destination better than a two-on-one date! Serena blew the ladies a bunch of air kisses as she left her final rose ceremony. Hometown dates were going so well for Matt with extra quality time and sweet family moments. But, a few chats made Serena realize her feelings weren't quite there and she wasn't ready to accept a proposal.
Kaili from Chicago also didn't make the cut in week four and went back to the Windy City to get back to her hostess gig. Brittany's time on The Bachelor may have been short, but she got more than her fair share of drama. Matt stood up for her last week, but it didn't turn into happily ever after for the two of them. Abigail and Matt got off to an excellent start on night one, and she received the first impression rose. But, he developed stronger relationships with the other women and sent her home before hometowns.
The eighth season of Bachelor in Paradise is in full swing, and a new group of eligible singletons is in Mexico to find love, and to have an epic summer vacation. Bachelor in Paradise Episode 12 delivered the most tears of the season. Be sure to check out next week’s two-night The Bachelor event which will include Fantasy Suites–and Women Tell All! Sierra was one of the women that tried to warn Clayton this week about Shanae. She was honest and straightforward about the chaos Shanae had been causing, but instead of acknowledging that she was trying to help, Clayton sent her packing.
